IS ENGLISH CONSIDERED AS UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE?

 

As we know, English is widely use in almost everywhere like in education,business and also entertainment. So, that is why English is considered as universal language. There are about 1.132 billion people that can speak English very well. In Malaysia, English also considered as our second language where there are some school that teach all the subjects in English. I feel very happy and grateful when English is considered as universal language because it is quite easy to learn and remember.

I think all school in Malaysia should have English as one of their important subject because with learning and speaking using English,it give us a lot of advantages such as we can be more confidence when we are talking to someone. Also, we can increases our mental flexibility.

WHY I THINK ENGLISH IS CONSIDERED AS UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE?

ENTERTAINMENT

Nowadays, people most likely listen to the English song because we all know that English is one of the top spoken language and many people will more attract to the song. That is why most artists will put their lyric’s song in English because English is so popular and very easy to understand. 

TRAVELLING

With using English language, we can easily travelling to everywhere because we all know that most people understand English. We can get a lot of benfit when we are travelling while  speaking with English language such as we can easily with the local there. Speaking English also enables you to be more independent because you can travel freely without using a tour guides also you can save your money.

EDUCATION

English also widely use in education too. Every school in Malaysia also have English as their important subject and some school have provide a dual language programme (DLP) which students learn Science and Mathematic in English. For me, I feel very grateful because my school provided us to learn all the subjects in English which it gave me a lot of advantages and oppurtinities. With learning all the subjects in English, it helps me a lot when I am entering to the university and looking for the job.
